The Dean's House
 Cooks for Books was published as a fundraiser for the college. Various cooks, home economists, and food professionals contributed recipes.

 The recipes were grouped into four sections, Regional Recipes, Seasonal Recipes, Popular Radio Recipes (with contributions by Ida Bailey Allen. Aunt Sammy, and others), and Recipes from the County Fair.

 At the back of the book there were a few dissertations written by students of the college, such as Mignonette Sauce vs. 'Pot Likker'.
